Mint7 64 bit - WiFi dør efter nogle timer
Hej, min Linux Mint 7 64 bit på en Dell Inpsiron 1720, som eller har kørt stabilt siden jeg installede den 5. juli som en RC1 udgave har pludselig begyndt at tabe sit Intel wifi kort når systemet har kørt et antal timer.

Jeg bemærker mig at:
- Jeg har et betydeligt antal 'beacon loss' hvad det så end ellers er?
- Skype bruger åbenbart et gammelt kald
- VirtualBox aktiverer noget 32 bit kode (VirtualBox kørte en arch linux jeg rodede med mens det skete)
21:28:14 går det så galt hvor wifi driver formodentlig konstaterer at firmwaren på wifi kortet er gået ned?
og der følger så noget der ligner et dump af kørende moduler?
Hvad gør man for at rette op på et sådant problem?
er der andre log filer man kan få flere informationer ud af?
Når først WiFi kortet er lukket ned kan man heller ikke længere slukke maskinen - når man prøver lukker X ned og ender med sort skærm men den slukker ikke sig selv - som den ellers plejer.

Nu gjorde den det igen.

Jeg kan se at kl 11:07:08 gik microcoden ned i wifi kortet men da blev det åbenbart genstartet uden de store problemer, men kl 12:17:08 dør hele wifi delen og medfører igen at maskinen ikke kan stoppe men må afbryden med powerknappen.
Er der ikke nogen der har nogle ideer?

Jeg tror at jeg ender med at gå tilbage til min 32 bits udgave af Mint7 (som endnu virker perfekt)
Så kan man vel starte 64 bits udgaven ind imellem og se om der kommer en update der får det til at virke igen. Det er bare mærkeligt at det kører perfekt i 3 uger og så går ned.
