HJÆLP! Min laptop booter ikke :-(
Hjælp!
Da jeg her til morgen skulle starte min macbook pro (som kører Ubuntu 8.04), ville den desværre ikke komme forbi GRUB. Det eneste der sker, er at jeg ser en sort skærm og teksten "GRUB" efterfulgt af en blinkende cursor :-(
Det nytter ikke noget at vente, den kommer simpelthen ikke videre i boot-processen.
Jeg tror det er opstået fordi jeg i går kørte "sudo apt-get auto-remove", da apt-get foreslog det for at fjerne pakker som ikke længere var nødvendige.
Jeg er nu virkelig på spanden, fordi alt mit arbejde afhænger af at kunne anvende denne maskine. Jeg er i afslutningfasen af min ph.d. og har derfor ikke meget tid til overs og ville hjertens gerne slippe for at skulle geninstallere det hele med efterfølgende tweaks af programmer til følge.
Jeg håber at nogen af guruerne har en ide til hvad jeg kan gøre!

Re: HJÆLP! Min laptop booter ikke :-(
Har kørt "e2fsck -f -p" for at se om der skulle være noget galt med disken, men det synes ikke at være tilfældet, og det har ingen effekt.
Geinstallér GRUB
Start en ubuntu live-cd og åbn en terminal.
For at starte grub skriv:
"sudo grub"
Du kommer nu ind i grubs interface.
For at finde ud af hvor hvilken partition dine grub-filer ligger på, skriv:
"find /boot/grub/stage1"
Resultatet af denne kommando skal du bruge til istedet for (hd0,1), når du fortæller grub hvor den skal finde sine filer:
"root (hd0,1)"
Derpå installerer du grub med:
"setup (hd0)"
Når du derefter starter computeren igen, skulle tingene gerne fungere som de plejer.
