EU om "Åbne Standarder"

Langt om længe har EU lagt sig fast på en fælles definition af åbne standarder. Den indeholder bl.a. perler som:

"[The definition] require the royalty-free licensing of any applicable patents, and prohibit any restrictions on re-use of open standards."
