Hvis du har 2 webkameraer på maskinen skal du sikkert ind i
/etc/motion.conf filen, og have det rettet til, for at få det til at virke.
Motion er sat op til at bruge /dev/video0.
På min installation gemmes billederne i
/usr/local/apache2/htdocs/cam1
men det kan naturligvis også rettes til i motion.conf.

#7 & #5: Det er en Asus EEE BOX, altså en stationær uden webcam indbygget.

jeg har selv et LEGO kamera som i virkeligheden er noget Logitech QuickCam (meget gammelt). Naa. Det er v4l (1) og det virker ikke med gstreamer/cheese. Det plejede ogsaa at virke med specielle mplayer options, men det goer det ikke mere. Nu virker det kun med gqcam.

Saa jeg synes du skulle proeve gqcam.

Jeg kan se at pwc.ko.gz modulet er med på min installation (pclinuxos).

Svar til webcam problemer.
Jeg skulle bruge et webcam til Skype. Satte mit webcam i USB, gik ind i Skype indstillinger og kunne se at mit webcam var klar.
Og driver og hvor webcammet kunne ses i min Linux jaaa.
Det er et godt spørgsmål. Men hvad lortet virker.

Og hvilket webcam var det så?

jeg har et stevision ( http://dusted.dk/?view=linux-Z-Star-ZC0301-Webcam ) farvekamera med infrarød nightvision, kostede 100 kr, virker glimrende, den driver jeg nævner på siden er endda indbygget i nyere versioner af kernen.
